With the resources available to Taylor Agency, we have the ability to
provide coverage for the difficult to place risk, to the high value risk.
For the insureds that qualify, we have preferred rates and competitive
rates for the high risk insureds. Following are some of the personal insurance
coverages we provide.
- A homeowners policy is insurance coverage for your residence's and
your personal property, where you live and what you own. Homeowners
insurance is divided into two sections: property and personal liability.
Property coverage includes dwelling (the actual building in which you
live), other structures (detached garage, barn, shed, etc.), personal
property (furniture, clothing, TV, VCR, etc.), and loss of use (if your
home becomes uninhabitable due to a covered peril such as fire, wind,
etc.). Personal liability means that if a claim or lawsuit is brought
against you under the policy, the insurance company will represent you
and pay any damages for which you are legally responsible.
- Any kind of insurance pertaining to the ownership, maintenance, or
use of automobiles. Liability insurance provides protection against
claims alleged for bodily injury and property damage. Comprehensive
insures against loss or damage to a covered vehicle resulting from loss
excluding collision or upset. Collision coverage insures against loss
or damage to a covered vehicle resulting from collision or upset.
- Your dwelling is insured for the covered perils named in the policy
such as fire and lightning, windstorm or hail, explosion, riot or civil
commotion, aircraft, vehicles, smoke damage, vandalism or malicious
mischief, theft, breakage of glass, etc. You also may have the option
to purchase a policy which coverage is provided on a special perils
basis subject to exclusions. This is generally the broadest policy available.
- This is a Homeowners policy specifically designed to meet the needs
of tenants. Unlike other homeowners forms, insurance is not provided
for a dwelling although coverage for any building additions and alterations
that you might have an interest in can be added by endorsement. Your
personal property is protected against such covered perils as fire,
wind etc. Also insurance is provided for the loss of use of your premises
as well as personal liability and medical payments protection as specified
in the policy.
- This coverage is used to extend your Homeowners policy to provide
open perils protection and scheduled limits of coverage for the personal
property items specified in the form.
- This coverage insures against liability claims arising out of the
ownership, maintenance and use of a watercraft. Coverage against loss
of the watercraft including all equipment that is permanently attached
is also an option.
- This insurance provides a higher limit of coverage that is excess
over your scheduled primary policies. It is used in one of the following
ways: (1) to provide additional limits of protection over the coverage
listed in your underlying schedule, (2) to act as primary coverage if
your underlying limits are exhausted, and (3) to provide coverage for
some risks, subject to a retention, when your primary coverage does
not.
- Designed to insure the various aspects of your farming or ranching
operations. It combines coverage for your residential home and farm
or ranch buildings, plus liability protection for your personal and
farm business exposures. Additional endorsements can be added to insure
your livestock, mobile or agricultural equipment, crops and farm or
ranch personal property.
- This coverage is used to provide protection against loss due to damage
by flooding. This damage can result in one of four ways: (1) overflow
of inland or tidal waters, (2) unusual or rapid accumulation or runoff
of surface waters, (3) collapse or subsidence of land because of flooding
and (4) mudslides or mudflows that are approximately caused by flooding.
- Mobil homes present special insurance concerns that cannot always
be solved by conventional Homeowners or Tenants policies. As a result,
a special type of policy called a Mobile Homeowners policy has been
developed to meet the needs of mobile home owners.
